PRISM / Enforcement

While all firms can be subject to the GFSC's enforcement powers, through PRISM, ‘lower impact’ firms are supervised on a more ‘reactive’ basis with thematic reviews conducted typically on a sectorial basis. This reactive approach to supervision (as opposed to higher levels of regulatory engagement) is supported by the GFSC using its enforcement powers to ensure the regulatory laws are complied with.

At Redwood we can provide all businesses with advice on the enforcement process, whether matters identified by the business or supervisory intervention could lead to potential enforcement, assist firms (where permitted) with the collation of materials (following a notice issued by the Commission), remediation plans and guidance on enforcement interviews.
